Catherine is a West Virginia native who received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Marshall University in Huntington, WV. She thoroughly enjoys working with families to help reach their communication goals and feeding goals for their child.
After graduation, Catherine began working as an SLP in the WV public school system. This experience included treating preschool speech and language disorders, developmental delay, articulation/phonological disorders and language disorders. Catherine co-taught in an autism classroom and worked with children using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). In the pediatric clinical setting, Catherine worked as an SLP providing outpatient therapy to children ages 1-16. She worked with children and their families treating feeding/swallowing disorders, apraxia of speech, children with Down Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy as well as those who were hard of hearing or had cochlear implants. In recent years, Catherine has found her passion for working with parents and their children through early intervention.
In her free time, Catherine loves being at home with her two shelter rescues, Bella and Chewy. She enjoys baking and watching all of the holiday baking shows. On the weekends, Catherine loves to spend time outside or travel and spend time with friends and family.

Alyssa's experience with the pediatric population began in a private practice in Washington, D.C. and carried over to Special Education Coordinating with the Arlington Public School System in Virginia for Children 1-5 years old. She has worked with many families with different needs ranging from children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, genetic disorders, speech and language delays, apraxia of speech, fluency and feeding issues. She also has some experience with low-tech and high-tech augmentative devices and alternative communication (AAC) devices. She is a WV native with a Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders from Marshall University (2007) and a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University (2011). Alyssa would love the opportunity to work with you and your child!

Hello! My name is Alison. I am a graduate of Marshall University’s Communication Disorders Graduate Program, in which I received my Master’s degree in Communication Disorders. I am a WV girl, born and raised. I received a double major of BS in Communication Disorders/Psychology from MU. My experience with the pediatric population began during my undergraduate career when I worked for River Valley Child Development Services with School Age Connections and extended into my graduate school career. Through my graduate experience, I gained a wide range of experience in various communicative needs, and these include but are not limed to speech/language delays/disorders, autism spectrum disorder, childhood apraxia of speech,developmental disorders, genetic disorders, cognitive disorders, psychological disorders, feeding/swallowing disorders, low tech augmentative devices, alternative devices and voice disorders. Kelly's experience with the pediatric population began with Easter Seals serving the Birth to Three population. She has worked with many families with a variety of needs including Down’s Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, speech and language delays, Traumatic Brain Injury, fluency, and feeding and swallowing issues. She is from WV and lives in Wood County. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from West Virginia University (1998) and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Ohio University (2000).
